Just a bit of Rain

Anger’s an angry bitch

People’s laughter makes me grind my teeth

I seeth with heated hatred

What a waste of time to feel so unnecessarily obtuse

The truth is I’m consumed by it

Night and day unable to say what I want to say

“there’s a fucking queue bitch!

“you in a hurry to fucking get somewhere?”

I don’t care about chivalry

The real me seems to want to be unleashed in the streets

To break people’s teeth

But it’s hidden underneath this fake plastic smile

That comes out once in while whenever I have

To walk along the ground where all the people

Mill around, above ground, underground, overground

These feet on the streets walking over asphalt and concrete

For a sweet jesus moment I’d like a little peace.

Just somewhere remotely out of reach

Underneath, beneath all this

Just a drop of water on the street

Just a bit of rain

Why complain again
